Personal fears, pains, fractures, or self-doubt are usually reserved for an “inner universe,” whereas humans construct an intact, if not brilliant, exterior for society. The scaffolding provides protection and support, but can also be perceived as a prison.

The autobiographical work reflects a violent traumatic experience and focuses on the complex relationship between publicity and inwardness.

The installation is walkable and one may like to take time to go into the black tunnel. With no expectation of what will happen, it offers the opportunity to back to itself and understand the work better.
